Sweet Peppermint Pine

December 13, 2011

After 25 long Midwestern winters, I was anxious to experience the Colorado winter. I’d heard rumors of beautiful snow, plenty of warm sun, and gorgeous sweeping views of snow on the front range of the Rockies. Now, the winter feels like a gift. A respite. Calm with sweet, pine air – ever weighted with the comfort of warm sunlight.

Love the different focuses and sunlight between the pines. Nice shot!

Thanks! I like the small snow cap resting on the top of the empty seed head.
